Reviewing Spatial and Temporal Transmission of Information through Multimode Optical Fibers in a Unified Model

چکیده

The potential and the capacity of large core fibers possibility to use it as a transmission media is discussed.The transmission of spatial and temporal data down a multimode optical fiber is abstracted. The attempts to establish a multi channel link over multimode fibers is reviewed and different practical methods are compared and a multimode fiber link is presented in a model which can be applied to any multimode media. The model uses a linear approach to a multimode communication links and depicts the whole interaction from any source to any detector through large core fibers in order to make system analysis and design easier.Moreover a matrix approach that uses two easily manipulative bases based on input and output condition is presented that can be further developed for a certain system.
